Experience Chinese Medicine & Acupuncture

in a quiet, community-style environment in a

group setting in our new comfy recliners.

Community Setting Treatments

In Asia, traditionally, Acupuncture treatments occur in a community setting, where most acupuncturists in the U.S. treat patients on tables in isolated rooms.

Treatments are simple and it is highly recommended they are repeated frequently for best results.

At Central Valley Community Acupuncture, patients remain fully clothed in a comfortable lounge chair or massage tables in our quiet, soothing community room.

Getting acupuncture this way has many benefits beyond being more affordable

People find it comforting to have others around them rather than being alone in a dark room.

Your acupuncturist can attend to your needs more easily during the treatment.

You can stay in treatment for a longer time.

Families and friends can receive treatments together in a group setting with closeness.

The group treatment room creates collective healing energy that enhances the power of each individual’s treatment

Our Sliding Scale

The effects of acupuncture is greatly enhanced when received frequently and regularly. (In China and Japan, in the first course of treatments, it is common to receive treatment every day or every other day) Due to the higher cost of private one-on-one treatments common in the U.S., most people can only afford to be treated once a week, at best. When treated with greater frequency, you will feel better faster and you’ll be able to see longer-lasting results sooner.

We want you to come in often enough to get well and stay well. Many patients who go to community acupuncture clinics can testify that acupuncture does not have to be expensive to be effective!

We understand that everyone’s situation is different, so we will never ask you for any proof of income/need.

Everybody is treated the same no matter what you pay on our sliding scale of $30-$50.

You chose what you can afford this is an honor system.

There is an additional $10 new patient administrative fee on your first appointment.
